Worked on a modern agile team that worked closely with other teams to meet the business needs. The team I was on implemented machine learning models as a service. Overall, we were responsible for the entire flow of the data, from it coming in, to processing that data in real time, and then storing the results in a location for Analysts to be able to use.
I worked with various databases (MySql, Microsoft SQL, Postgres, MongoDB) and Snowflake. Along with working with various forms of data, I also worked with multiple languages, as models and our services were written in Java/Kotlin using Springboot with newer ones being written in Python. Some other Worked extensively with modern tools such as Git/Github along with CI/CD processes on Jenkins and ArgoCD Utilized stream data processing technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka
Architected, implemented and led a project migrating our UI from Angular to React and NodeJS backend to a serverless architecture on AWS
Migrated from on-prem local infrastructure to AWS Cloud, working with Terraform for infrastructure and Docker/Kubernetes for containerizing our services.

Custom website that allows users to search, rate, and review legal entites such as lawyers.
Android application built on public data from the Texas Lottery
This was a two-part project, consisting of a daily web scraping job and an Android application that would use the data.
The first part was a web scraper, which ran on a daily cron job, which would scrape data from the official Texas Lottery website texaslottery.com. It would scrape the data each day using a python script utilizing requests and then update a MySQL database with the new information. After the data had been scraped and cleaned, it would analyze the data on the server using python and store the results in the database as well. A flask server was then used for an API to allow the Android application to request information from the database.
The Android application was developed mainly using Kotlin with some Java. It would request information from the backend and display the results based on which ticket or page the user was requesting. Google maps API was used as well for an overview of where tickets had been claimed previously.
